We had a wonderful trip to Druridge Bay. Here we took part in rock pooling sessions. We got to see first-hand the amazing adaptations creatures on our rocky shores have in order to survive in their tricky habitats. We will use the animals we discovered as the basis for work on animal classification and will create some classification keys to identify them. We also hunted for fossils and will use these observations to help us to understand evolution and inheritance. We took part in observational drawing sessions.
