The Adventurers staff have been overjoyed with the quality of children's homework this term.  It shows that they are doing lots of their own research and are very enthusiastic about our topic.  Mr P simply had to share ALL of the acrostic poems that were handed in this week - it was impossible to choose just a few.
 

C is for Caesar, the man who helped her take back Egypt.

L is for lots of fighting

E for the hot country of Egypt.

On Egypt’s land, Cleopatra killed herself with a snake.

P is for pyramids built in Egypt.

A is for Antony, her husband.

T is for the Romans who took over Egypt.

R is for the mean Romans.

A is a pharaoh, Queen in Ancient Egypt.

 

 

C is for Caesar, the man who helped her take back Egypt.

L is for life, Cleopatra’s life.

E is for evil Romans who took over Egypt.

O is for Octavian who kidnapped Cleo.

P is for Pharaohs, like Cleopatra.

A is for Ancient Egypt, Cleo was a Pharaoh then.

T is for twins, Cleopatra’s kids.

R is for ruler, Cleopatra ruled with her brother.

A is for asp, the poisonous snake that killed Cleo.

A is for a snake that poisoned Cleopatra.

E is for Egypt, the place she was born and died.

O is for originally. Originally she ruled with her brother.

P is for Pharaoh, she was the last of them.

A is for Antony, he committed suicide after losing the Battle of Actium.

T is for the theory, there were lots of stories about her death.

R is for Rosetta Stone, the stone has her name on it.

A is for Alexandria, the place she was born.

E is for Egypt, the country she ruled.

O is for Octavian (Augustus) who came to capture her.

R is for Rome, where the Romans lived.

P is for Pharaohs, who were the kings and queens.  Cleopatra was the last one.

A is for a run, a pharaoh had to run around his castle every four years or they would get sacrificied.

T is for Tutankhamen, he was a pharaoh before Cleopatra.

R is for Romans, who didn’t catch Cleopatra because she let a poisonous snake bite her chest.

A is for Antony, who Cleopatra married.

E is for Egypt, that Cleopatra ruled well.

O is for Octavian, he beat Cleopatra in battle.

P is for poisonous cobra, which bit her on the chest to kill her.

A is for attractive, Cleopatra could attract men.

T is for terminal, Cleopatra was the last pharaoh of Egypt.

R is for resilient ruler, the Egyptians loved her for it.

A is for Antony, Cleopatra loved Julius Caesar and Marc Antony.

P is for prosperity and peace, which she gave back.
