Today, the Adventurers set off on a long drive to Walltown Country Park. On arrival, we met the amazing team of park rangers as well as Storyteller Jim. The rangers led us through a woodland walk, looking for signs that winter was upon us. We also searched for mini-beasts and spotted birds nests too.
Back in the warmth, Storyteller Jim told us stories beside the fire. Our favourite one was about a boy called Jack who kept getting things wrong!
Before our bus ride home, we also had time to make some Christmas crafts to hang on our trees at home.
We would like to say a huge 'thank you' to the volunteers who came with us today and to all parents for making sure the children were all properly equipped.
