On Friday our Adventurers and Pioneers joined together for their Forest based Learning session. Both classes have been studying Judaism in their RE lessons, so it was a great opportunity to share some knowledge and help each other out! The Pioneers used their knot tying and lashing skills to help the Adventurers make Stars of David, using natural materials from our Forest.
The Adventurers used their peeling and chopping skills to prepare vegetables and they all used the campfire to make latke. The story of Hanukkah was shared around the fire, and everyone enjoyed the tasty treats!
