Roald Dahl Day in Adventurers
What an incredible sight, as foxes, witches, duck-boys and a giraffe came bouncing into school today for our Roald Dahl Day celebrations!
The children looked fantastic as we kicked off the day with some baking, taking recipes from Roald Dahl's Revolting Recipe Book. The children channelled their inner Mary Berry and measured and mixed the most delicious chocolaty treats!
We thought about dreams for the BFG to keep in his jars, made up wacky words using our dictionary skills and we took part in the Puffin Live show.
The Puffin Live show was viewed by thousands of schools from across the globe. We listened to speakers from the Roald Dahl museum, drew along with Sir Quentin Blake and saw a performance by the cast of Matilda the Musical.
