Theatre Workshops in School

12th November 2019

Yesterday, the 12th November, we were visited by Tutti Frutti Theatre productions for some workshops.
The day started with Voyagers and Pioneers, who were lucky to have an actress, Lucy, who led some drama games and activities in the hall. The students were challenged to act out finding something in a bag, and there were many interesting and imaginative items appearing from nowhere!

In Adventurers and Explorers, the children helped to create some props for one of the theatre company's upcoming shows, The boy who cried wolf. Students had fun with glitter and made some beautiful lanterns, as well as decorating some Christmas jumpers.
In conjunction with Highlights Rural Touring Scheme, who organised the workshops for us, Tutti Frutti Productions are putting on their production at Shilbottle Village Hall, on Friday 22nd November. More information can be found here, and a flyer has gone home with children this week. We really recommend that you go and see the show!
