On Thursday 5th March, children of all ages at Felton C of E School channeled their inner Dr Seuss and performed as part of our World Book Day Poetry Recital. As well as hearing some older classics, we were also introduced to some new favourites (we even heard a rap!)
We were immensely proud of all the children for their participation and hardwork in learning and performing their poems - they were truly amazing!
Thank you so much to the families of our pupils too. The event received such great support from ticket sales that we managed to raise over £100 for our school library and will be looking to purchase some new books shortly!
