During Adventurers 'Home Sweet Habitat' topic we have been learning all about our local geography. We identified human and physical features within our school grounds including the playground, wood, pond area and sensory garden. We then used this knowledge to identify more physical and human features in Felton including the bridge, building, parks and village hall! When we came back to school we created a 3D map to show the different features that we saw.
In Maths we have been learning about Place Value. Year 1 have been learning about Place Value within 10. Year 2 have been learning about Place Value within 100. In English we have innovated the Traditional Tale 'Little Red Riding Hood'. We began the unit by creating actions to retell the story.
