Today, our children led their Easter Service at the Church of St Michael and All Angels.
Waving Jesus into Jerusalem were our Explorers, celebrating the arrival of the King of Kings.
Afterwards, Adventurers retold Jesus' parables, the stories He told to spread messages of love and forgiveness. This understanding of Jesus was like during His time on earth made his betrayal even more shocking.
The Pioneers focused on the artwork that depicted Peter's betrayal and presented comparisons and the symbolism in each piece.
Voyagers then shared their amazing ballads which retold the story of Good Friday. To close, the incredible team of volunteers who Open the Book on a weekly basis and bring the Bible stories to life for our children, told the story of Jesus' resurrection.
