The Chronicle Sunshine Fund supplies specialist equipment to Children with disabilities and life limiting illnesses in the North East. Equipment that can't be funded by anyone else. The charity was founded in 1928 by King George V who donated £15 to take disadvantaged children to the coast when he officially opened the Tyne Bridge.
Today, were visited by Rachel and her son who spoke to us about the incredible impact any fundraising can have. The children loved meeting them and have felt inspired to support and raise awareness of this terrific cause.Next Wednesday, we will all be running/skipping/walking and in some cases cartwheeling but with a slight difference...... all we ask is that everybody is wearing something yellow. This could be a T-Shirt, pair of shorts, socks, headband, shoes, or anything else that can be worn that is yellow.
