With the Beast from the East a distant memory, today we held our slightly belated World Book Day celebration. The children donned some impressive outifts and came dressed as their favourite literary characters (as did the staff).
In the afternoon, the children took part in our 3rd annual poetry recital and they were fabulous. They performed a variety of traditional poems, limericks and rhymes with some staff and parents taking to the stage too.
We are so proud of the children for showing a tremendous effort in committing these poems to memory and for having the bravery and confidence to deliver them so effectively.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to our parent performers and to the FSFA for arranging refreshments.
