Anglican International Development

5th October 2016

Today we were visited by a parent, and governor, Mr Inglis-Jones.  He has recently returned from South Sudan, where he has been working with his charity AID.  With pictures taken less than one week a go, Mr Inglis-Jones talked to us about the work his charity does in supporting people improve their quality of life.  We saw how people's lives could be changed entirely with some compassion and support.  We saw the smiles of people running their own, vibrant market stalls and the delicate embroidery work of those who have worked with AID.

This visit came in a week where the children have been discussing the meaning of Harvest.  We know it is a time to be thankful for the things that we have and a time to support those who may be less fortunate.
